The pressure on the window was never an issue, I had 3 bikes on the back of mine and it was fine. On the 205 I didn't have a rear window wiper, but on the other two I just don't use it...simple.

steventhegreat wrote

It rests on the rear window and on the lip where the boot shuts, so you can't open the boot with the bike rack on...doesn't really bother me that much though, I think it only cost around £65-70 so I guess you can't complain.

Yeah I did actually. It was a Halfords one which I got for Christmas. Worked perfectly on the 205 and it fitted my 306 and now my Focus aswell.

I'm living in Bracknell now with my girlfriend, but I'm over in Maidenhead all the time, so its like I never left haha. I had a 205, then I had a 306 and now I have a Focus ST170.

shinz 4 trial : i have THE storm knee shin guards.. and a loose set of knukle bone shinz and 661 kylestraight knee prot.
i must note that the less padding .//stuff// neoprene there is in the back of your knee the best.. so THE shins work pretty good for me.. altough the calf is exposed.. what costed me 8 stiches last year Frown

should not be hard in the UK.. try look up tartybikes ...and give them a ring ask em if they know anybody near you thats riding trials ?? or any info you might need ?

cyberhawk wrote
May 12, 2009 at 5:34
24" would be an option too !
if you run 26" it looks more like a real bike not a bMX.. so is the riding style..
and you have a 26" wheel to aim at stuff wich is easier to succesfully do you riding.. Wink but its really personal.. our national champ is a little shorter than me but rides 20" so its hard to say whay you should do..

cyberhawk wrote
May 12, 2009 at 3:33
20" is more nimble and easy to turn and lighter.. 26" is a real bike and looks more skilled if you pull the same tricks offcourse.. and beleive 26" dont score chicks Razz neither does 20" lol

cyberhawk wrote
May 12, 2009 at 3:32
6" 4 is like 190 cm ?? thats my hight.. dont go for 20" well i mean i cant handle such a small bike ..also cause im used to 26" its hard for me to use my mates bike(20") but you should try to make a practice run on both types if you can find any trial riders in your neighbourhood ..?

cyberhawk wrote
May 11, 2009 at 23:58
mod or stock.. how big are you ? (tall) ?
and what would you prefer ?
mod is all different parts..
stock is mostly usably for other bikes.. i started 26 on street bike
depends.. mail me if you want more specific what your hesatating about.. ?

The thing is. I'm only 17. To get some, I have to go on a 10 minute trek to buy it, and I really don't have that effort (yet!). I'm going to buy the skittles before work later though! Big Grin
